St. Norbert is located south of Winnipeg's perimeter highway along Highway 75. Both the Red and LaSalle rivers flow near this community. Houses located on the banks of the Red in this area have been sandbagged before. This year's expected water levels are said to be beyond what has been experienced by residents in the past.

As seen above, in some areas, the Red is already lapping up on residential property. As seen below, other locations along the banks have additional time to become prepared.
